For when on the road, Lizzie takes to a heavy wool coat complimented by a long running scarf thrown over her shoulders and tucked under the collar of her traveling pelisse.
The pelisse itself is full length maintaining a good level of modesty but at the same time protecting her dress from the elements. It is held close via three large buttons (hidden here in the picture) along the front as well as an ornamental button.
The ensemble is furthered by her choice of gloves and bonnet, matching and making her wardrobe selections truly complete.
